Subject: Werewolf, wolfman, wolven...texture and/or character needed!!!

palatineknight ( ) posted Sat, 21 December 2002 at 9:17 AM · edited Thu, 09 January 2025 at 9:01 AM

Does anyone out there know where I can find a good werewolf texture and/or character. Doesn't matter if it's classic wolfman movie, modern wolven, or furry style as long as it is recognizingly lupinal in appearance. I need it for a character portrait and my texturing skills and resources are limited at best.

There's also Dave "Lemurtek" Matthews' Wolfgang at 3D-Arena as well as 13 other anthromoporhic characters. Need a female? Constance may fulfill your requirements. Want Vulpines? Both genders exist. Felinoids? 6, count'em, 6 characters. He even has zebra hooved (and striped) humanoids. Sincerely, Bill

Thanks you dampeoples I forgot to mention the textures are by Rawnrr. He did an amazing job, I think

grumble grumble... I want n0s4ra2's wolfman.... grumble... and I want him in a zoot suit... Guys, if you haven't gotten his free pig morph for Mike, you should. There's a whole world out there just getting started of furries. Between the wolfman, the porker, and Furette, you've got a whole lot of comic potential. Gosh! I didn't think to check for animal morphs for V3. Time to play!

Thanks for all the leads. Now time to collect the bounty.

Hi palatineknight The werewolf pack should be available in the marketplace sometime next week. I can attest that it is a great set to play with. It has individual morphing elements so you can edit the ears or snout seperatly to make all kinds of different beasts. Plus it has 4 different texture colours...white, grey, brown, and black. Hope you enjoy it :) Rawnrr

Lemurtek's Wolfgang ...

... and Victoria 2 (MPEG format, 264KB)

Barryw ( ) posted Sat, 21 December 2002 at 3:59 PM

Hey Little Dragon, You did the Victoria animation in P5 didn't you, If not how did you get the texture to change??

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 21 December 2002 at 9:33 PM

Nope. I did it in Pro Pack, a few months before Poser 5 was released. Basically, I rendered the animation twice: once with human textures, and once with wolfy textures. Then I loaded both animations into a video editing application and performed a dissolve transition from one to the other. You're right, though. I can now do it all in one take with Poser 5, using the Blender node to change textures.
