Just put together a new image, and modeled the chess pieces and board in Wings3D... what do you think?

Hehe :). Windows 95, not exactly the fastest computer over here O_O. Rendering is a bitch for me, especially in Bryce.

11 hours... Quite well understood considering all the glass type materials and atmospheric settings. That will increase render times by a large factor. I bet he could do the same thing using the basic solid materials with atmosphere off, no lights (other than sun), etc. in a half hour. But that's not the point in using Bryce is it?
