Ok, had to do it...this is my first V3 test render. No postwork except for the logo added and cropping. Postworked render in my gallery. :)

I can't wait to get her. I have to wait until Sunday. I use my sister's internet connection and I have to find a time when she's not using it. Sunday morning will be a good time so that I have time to do all the downloading. This image looks great! I think Vicki 3 looks WAY better than Judy! Melanie

creativechaos ( ) posted Fri, 20 December 2002 at 8:58 PM

Melanie - You will NOT be disappointed. And by Sunday, download times will be much better than they were today. I felt like I Was on high speed dial up, if you know what I mean ROFLMAO. But it was well worth the 20 minute download time. Believe you me Well worth it indeed. (If I thought you could get away with it, I'd say stay up late and get it Giggle that's how much I love this model) I don't have P5 yet, so I don't know Judy's capabilities, so I don't have an honest comparison, but....I think she looks damned good.

The best part about her, is that there are some very attractive faces in the head morph pak, without any tweaking. Blending them is even better (lots of variety, but more realistic than before) Eric

creativechaos ( ) posted Fri, 20 December 2002 at 10:29 PM

Definitly Eric...I don't have P5, so I don't have the face room, but her Face morphs are amazing. I played with this one about 30 minutes and was really satisfied with the face that I had created. I really like the emotion morphs...they're SO much more realistic looking than V2....I'm glad I jumped on the V3 Bandwagon

Looks great Serpentis! I finally get some time to play with V3 too. Off for two days. Yah!

melanie ( ) posted Sat, 21 December 2002 at 9:10 AM

Serpentis, I don't have P5 either. I've only seen what's been shown and I'll still stick with the Millennium people over the stock figures in P5 (if I ever get it). My funds are stretched, especially at this time of year. Vicki is a better bargain for me over the P5 upgrade at the time being. Wow, now I'm really getting charged up about this. :) Melanie

creativechaos ( ) posted Sat, 21 December 2002 at 3:35 PM

Melanie - I'm holding out for DAZ Studio I think. (Unless P5's under the Xmas tree) My funds aren't just streached, they've broke by now (I go WAY nuts for my friends and family) Being a pc member DEFINITLY has pirks... LOL I can't wait to see what you come up with when you do get V3 :) Kymm

I'm waiting for the DAZ Studio, too. I'll be getting V3 tomorrow morning when I have lots of time to download. Getting excited. I've seen some fun things people are doing with her morphs. Looks great. Glad I belong to the Platinum club, so I can get that double discount! ;) Melanie

AMEN to that Melanie - only a few hours left. YAY YOU! Let me know when you post something, looking forward to seeing it. Kymm

I'm downloading the last element as we speak (the body morphs). I got an early start on it last night, but had a moment of frustration. As the Victoria 3 Upgrade file was between 30-50% complete downloading, my cat decided to jump off the TV and run across my keyboard. It halted the download and I had to start over. Aaarrgghhh! Thank goodness they give you three downloads. Now, if there were just some clothes that will fit her. I'll bet Steve Shanks is starting on something for her soon. (hint hint hint, Steve!) :) Melanie

Yup, I heard that he and Rena already have something in the works. I know I pulled her into Rhino as soon as I got her, but her joint set up is proving a problem for this nube modeler ;) (I'm barely able to use Vicki 2 in Rhino LOL) There's also a free bikini from Dave71 in freestuff already too. (Thanx Dave, looks good by the way) and I'm sure the great folks over at RDNA will be on it right away as well.

OK, here's my first contribution with an image. Vicki 3 with the Cyclorama background. I managed to tweak PowerWorld's picnic dress onto her, with some post work to fill in the holes. Kozaburo's hair. (I hope the image isn't too large.) I think, after everyone gets used to the new way to use this figure, with all the injecting and all, it'll be a very versatile character. Melanie

melanie ( ) posted Mon, 23 December 2002 at 7:48 AM

Oh, by the way, her shoes fit perfectly when I conformed them, so I guess her feet aren't too different from Vicki 2. Melanie

creativechaos ( ) posted Tue, 24 December 2002 at 1:00 AM

Way kool Melanie!! She looks great in that dress. Working on getting stuff to fit her too. By the way, I'm working on a tube top for V3 atm Packaged up, waiting for the ok from the testers to drop it in freestuff over at 3DC :)

I think everyone who makes clothes are probably excited about creating new things for her I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I wish I could make clothes, but my modeling knowledge is too limited. Melanie

creativechaos ( ) posted Tue, 24 December 2002 at 10:50 AM

Well, I just uploaded the Tube Top over at 3DC Mel if you wanna go pick it up. It's not the best thing in the world...but it's free...and it covers her boobies ;)
