Subject: How many poser files does poser 4 hold?

I just downloaded and installed Vic-3 and she took up so much room in the pose file that I couldnt get to the bottom of the list. I have moved some old mat files out to another folder outside of poser. Is is techniqually possible for me to combine mat folders, share them that is? Karen

Karen, The poser libraries have a limit of 256 internal categories. More than that and the names get cut off so you don't see them. I'm not sure what you mean by combine/share MAT folders. Do you mean shift MATs from one folder to another in Poses? If so, yes, no problem. What you should do if your Pose Library is full, is move some of the MATs to Cameras or Faces. This is easy enough to do. It only requires you to change the extension of the files from .pz2 (pose file) to .cm2 (cameras) or .fc2 (faces). See the link to another thread for a full explanation and the name of a free utility to do it for you. mac
