I was trying to learn more about the 2d images projected into the 3d scene. I experimented with different skys, water and finally got this. I used Painter 5.5 to apply a lighting.

That is exquisite. Masterful integrating of the water with the background image of trees to get the ripples and reflections right.

Great pic. If you had not said what you were doing I would have thought it was totally just a scan of a real pic. The water looks so real and the reflection of the image. You have opened my eyes to a new concept. Good job.
