Hi Ratteler The problem i have, is when working in poser (4) i get the dreaded 'save & close programmes now, out of memory'. i have a PC, 384 ddrram working on win2000pro and 1.3gh processor, but i still only have the odd background file (which dont take up any more memory)and poser. I is stumped! thanks for you help though, happy Christmas :)

depends on what you're trying to do... some Poser scenes need more than 900meg to render. So...more ram... more ram... more ram

There might be an easyer way to do this than for you to go and spend money for more RAM. How big is your hardrive?

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

20GB Hard drive, but i also have a 4GB backup, the 20gb has windows working from it, but i have been told to use the 4 gb for windows and use the 20 for files. Whats your opinion? regards Marc

basically what you have to do is bump up your virtual memory, and that should take care of any your problems.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

OK...Go to your START Menu, Click on Control Panel, click on SYSTEM,now you should have the System Properties window, click on the Advanced tab, under Performance click Settings, now you should have the Performance options window, click on advanced, and go to Virtual Memory change, adjust the virtual memory to your liking.

Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.
