Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 30 5:12 am)
Taking the last one first, Vue doesn't export anything, except the terrains, so no. On the first...yes sorta kinda. Vue 4 does not recognize the Poser 5 executable, so you =have= to have P4 installed to export to Vue. P4 does the full export bit (except for the .bum files. You have to replace them with the jpegs that are usually included in packages), and P5 -can- export some things; Not, however, the dynamic hair, or any of the fancy shader nodes in the materials room. You -can- export dynamic cloth, but only as a static prop (drape the cloth on the figure or some primitive to match what you want it draped on in the Vue scene, then export the cloth as a .obj file). At the moment nothing really utilizes the features in P5 except P5. There are plug ins due for export functions, but we have no timeline as to when or what level of work they will do.

Is it possible to export Poser4/5 stuff into Vue d'Esprit? Is it also possible to export Vue d'Esprit stuff into Poser4/5?
