I just want to know if there is a utility (free, i hope !) that can read CR2 files and that can tell if the texture files/path exists and as a consequence allows or not the user to change the file path to find the file or another adapted file (all file types) and then rewrite the CR2. It is like poser does, but i find poser to slow to do that and it crashes sometimes... I need it because i converted TIF maps into JPEGs to gain HD space, and i cannot load and resave all my characters or props files....

I know there is one, and I think it is in free stuff here. if not it's in the marketplace here. it finds all miscoded paths in a cr2, including textures. just can't remember what it's called right now.

I think hogwarden's correct reference is what you're looking for. It's a freeware utility. http://www.renderosity.com/freestuff.ez?Form.Contrib=hogwarden&Topsectionid=0 JHoagland has a commercial version that does the correct references plus a whole lot more. http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?Who=JHoagland Cheers!

I put everything in ONE folder, yes, textures & objects too...then I open the cr2 with Notepad, do a search for Runtime and replace all the paths with the one I just created.....then when I use something, I always know everything that goes with it, including more textures is all in that one folder....
