Subject: Here I come again - DW Hair on V3? Anyone have any luck?

Dark Whisper's hair models are some of my favorites, but because of the way he sets them up (the chest section is the main part of the figure, with the neck and head sections parented to the chest) I haven't been able to make any of his hair styles fit Victoria 3. If I load the hair and conform it, it's all out of whack (mainly on the z and y axes) and if I try to maneuver it into position and then parent the hair to the head without conforming, the only part which can be parented is the chest, and as soon as that's parented the head and neck hair portions go awry. DW usually puts out "fit to" poses for his hairstyles, because of this issue (normally he includes a "fit to" pose for at least Vicki, and often the Mil PT and Stephanie or Michael) but I'm not sure how to make a "fit to" pose so that his hair will conform correctly to Victoria 3. Has anyone else managed to get his hair to fit V3?

I've tried the Slick hair and it fits her fine, but conforming it apparently is not an option. I have it parented to her head by using the body of the hair, but that doesn't help in poses. I've got several other of his hair products, but haven't tried them all yet. I'm assuming that because of the different mapping and they are figures that it would work just like clothing and such and won't be able to be conformed. Pendy

Ran it through tailor just like clothes and it worked ok in conjunction with the v3jp pose file...you could delete v3 after doing this and save the hair as a pose file...I think that would work ...although havent tried it yet

Sorry ..used the maniken thing in free stuff to add a v3 morph to the hair ...I dont think I needed to play with the dials though...how to is in the thread a few posts back on fitting v2 clothes to v3

Jim Burton released a pose file to make his hair conform to Vicki 3. I discovered it works well too with Dark Whisper's hair (at least those I have : Arizona Hair, California Hair, Candy Hair). On the pic, you can see Arizona Hair fitted to Vicki 3.
