Cool underpass Prank I cant help thinking you need that speeding car rushing through or a figure walking out into the light just to give a bit more interest to the shots. A nice record of the place and #1 has a definitely creepy feel about it. :0)

I shot these 3 yesterday afternoon; they date back somewhere around the 1920's. In avoiding intersections, they would often dig an underpass instead of the more modern overpass. Not sure why they sometimes chose to do that just to avoid an intersection. There are about 3 of them left here in Memphis. Even though the road later was asphalted, that has in large part worn away, and the original cobblestone and brick can be seen once again. I took out a little trash here and there, did some slight cropping and contrast adjustment. It isn't very high, so some of today's vehicles cannot pass through, although once in a while some idiot who shouldn't tries too.
