In my experience, POSER always introduces a Character or Prop at frame 1. Maybe Poser 5 will address this. Until then, you can get a similar effect by introducing the character at frame and scaling it to 0%. Set the next key frame to 15 and scale the character up to 100 %. Use frame interpolation options to ensure that the character doesn't "Grow " between frame 1 and 15. Hope this works..
I worked on an animation where I imported OBJ files accidentally at frame 2 instead of frame 1. In my animation the objects were not in frame 1 at all and suddenly appeared in frame 2. I did nothing different when I imported them except I was on frame 2. I am using an unpatched Poser 4 on a Macintosh.

I just tryed to import a posercharacter(like at frame 15, but the little scubber in the animation control jumps always back to frame 1, is this a bug???any help???happy eastern to all the members of the forum dennis
