Runtime DNA has a Store Contact forum. MazakHmm, dunno then, sorry. The problems I had were with a few of the freebies being corrupted zip files.

"Send error report" messages usually come after a program has crashed on my XP computer. It should also indicate at some point what has crashed. In this case it would probably have to be WinZip or whatever extraction program you're using. Have you tried using your unzip program on some other zip files besides those from RDNA to see if it happens with them as well?
the problem i seem to have is that the exacutables from RDNA do not open i had backed up my poser downloads onto discs just in case of a mishap which unfortunatly came about. So no worries re-install poser and slowly install all the backed up files all was going great until i tried the RDNA OrientalRoom no go i tried Daz vicky chainmail and elegant sheaths, still no go i tried again and downloaded OrientalRoom again still no luck. What i get when i try to open the OrientalRoom exacutable is appVer:04455.0.0 ModName:glc5atmp ModVer:0.0.0.0 offset 000137ec and similar errors on the on the RDNA and DAZ files that have failed. Could i have a bug or something nasty? or have i deleted somtehing i should'nt have? i am totally in the dark.
I had trouble with the Oriental Room too. When I finally got it to work it installed someplace and I couldn't find it and I seem to have pieces of it all over the place so I've never used it. I HATE downloading exe files instead of zips...it's impossible to troubleshoot. There are/were some other RDNA downloads that were exe...I skipped them. It's probably the specific installer program they used that's causing all the grief. Turn off anti-virus and Windowblinds (if you have it) and try again.
Something to keep in mind. Firewall programs can sometimes affect your downloads. Programs like the Proximoton (a fabulous shut off goodie for popups, java, scrolling banners, flashies, sound, the works) can affect downloads. Netscape doesn't like a lot of sites, especially ones that have scripting to stop mass-DL bots. Older browser versions can cause problems. Check often for updates, patches, and bug reports. Some particularly zealous virus programs can false alert and rename or make executes unable to open if something in the file confuses it. NEVER turn your anti-virus off during downloads. Run it again when it's done, and preferably a secondary backup anti-virus as well. Norton and AVG usually work very well together. Only when you are Absolutely Sure the executable file is safe should you even think about turning them off. I'm not very fond of Win XP's built in unzipping program, so I immediately replaced it with good old classic WinZip. "Bad CRC" errors are usually spawned by a corruption of your unzipping program, either in the registry, DLLs, or etc. Try another download of the file to a new directory. If it fails again, reinstall. Redownload, deleting previous versions. If it still fails after that, and you've tried everything else on your system (virus checks, defrags, window washer, restoring to a previous setting, etc), then contact the merchant/freestuff provider.

Can anybody please tell me why my Runtime DNA files will not open on my windows xp computer?
I had to re-install poser and now, when I'm trying to install RDNA files I just get an error message. I've tried with no success in downloading and opening replacements from the RDNA site.
All replies appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this...
