this is, I think, the only mouse image that I've commented on... but I saw this and couldn't help but smile... If I remember the 70's correctly, though, shouldn't the cop be the black mousie? ;o)

Momcat ( ) posted Thu, 02 January 2003 at 2:45 AM

OH-MY-GAWD! This is one of the best mousie pics yet. I just about split my sides laughing when I saw this >^_^< How do you get all those things on them? It must take hours.

Dizzie ( ) posted Thu, 02 January 2003 at 3:05 AM

ROTFLLLLLL...what a great image!! I agree, it must have taken hours to get them in their get-ups, but it's great!

genny ( ) posted Thu, 02 January 2003 at 3:34 AM

Thanks everyone.........(: FW...you are probably right about the Cop, I remember the seventies too, I just couldn't remember which one was what. LOL! If I ever find a tool belt for the Construction worker Mouse, I will change the Cop Mouse too. And yes, it did take hours, but if you guys could see the backs of them, nothing really fits, except for the subdiving clothes and the Mouse Vest! (: Genny

Great! Just GREAT! Oh, and did I say funny?

FWTempest ( ) posted Thu, 02 January 2003 at 6:22 AM

I think that might be bikermouse on the far right... ;) genny, I didn't mean to sound nit-picking (or racially motivated, for that matter), it IS a wonderful image, as is.

Excellent image and very mice idea (pun intended). If you allow myself a bit of nit-picking, I just happen to have the YMCA video-clip on a VHS next to me (believe it or not) : so, it's true that the policeman (which was a motorcycle rider in the clip) had dark skin. But there were 6 village people, not 5 ! You forgot the soldier (GI apparently, with a military cap) ! He also had dark skin. And the leather clad guy had the most formidable pair of moustaches ever ! Anyway, your image is fantastic and I like it a lot. As I write this, my VHS plays another videoclip, which gives me an idea for suggesting a new pic : how about a Joan Jett and the Blachearts revival ? Thanks again for sharing this piece of humour with us. Compiler

Macho Macho Mouse, I wanta be a Macho Mouse!

genny ( ) posted Thu, 02 January 2003 at 8:56 AM

EEEEEKKKK! There was 6 of them? LOL! I guess I don't remember the seventies as well as I thought I did!! If I knew who Joan Jett and the Blachearts were, Compiler, I would give it a go.........but you got me on that one? FW, your comment was not taken as you being nit-picky or even racially motivated, I know you was merely stating what you remembered and I would have made him that way in the first place..........had I remembered it myself! LOL! Macho Macho Mouse..........hmmmmmm...........I like the sound of that........I think I will go make a GI mouse now and call my new picture that! (: Genny

http://www.joanjett.com/ Joan Jett and The Black Hearts. In those days they were singing (shouting ?) : "I love rock n' roll So put another dime in the jukebox, baby I love rock n' roll So come an' take your time an' dance with me " I did not understand anything beyond the first line, since English is not my native language, but this was all we needed to shout at the parties we attended in the early 80's. Does that ring a bell ? (or may be you were just teasing me about my poor spelling of Blachearts instead of Black hearts. Sorry about the typo). Happy Eeeeekkk to you for 2003. Compiler (PS, and speaking of famous groups, an AC/DC mouse revival or a ZZ top mouse car would be great. Or, more ancient, a remix of "the mouse of the rising sun". LOL)
