Subject: Mat Pose Edit problems

Can someone here help me with Mat Pose Edit from the freebies section? I keep getting the runtime error 7 Out of Memory. I checked the troubleshoting and re-downloaded it from the creator site just to make sure I had the current one and I still get the error message. I haven't had a reply yet from the Creator Scourge(sp), he might be away on vacation or too busy to help. I understand he's in the process of updating it to work with V3 but If I can't get it to work now, why should I even hope for the update.

This is plauging all third party developers out there. The changes in V3 are pretty drastic so I would be surprised if current programs work well on her. Give us a little time and I am sure everything will end up working with V3.

thats not the problem. It has nothing to do with V3. I jyst read that he's woring on an update for it. I can't get the program to run at all :(

Have you made sure you have all the required Microsoft files? Scourge ships the program minus a whole bunch of required files to save bandwidth. Details are in the trouble shooting guide. Scourge is on military service and only gets...um....I think it's every second weekend off, so that's probably why you haven't had a reply from him.

Try deleting it and re-installing it. Also make sure you have the most recent version.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully everything that I already have will run correctly. I didn't bother with the other stuff since it was not in the troubleshooting for the error I was getting. I did have all the files in my folder already, so I used the ones I downloaded just in case I came up with an error message after I got the first thing fixed. But hopefully whatever program used these same files will run okay since I copied over the old ones.

This is a Windows XP related problem and I'm definitely going to solve it before I upload any newer versions.

If it's not Win XP's fault or if the problem can't be fixed by installing Service Pack 1, I'll of course upload a patch as soon as I can. So briefly: I'll do what I can.

Ajax, you're right, I'm every second weekend off and I don't spend all my holidays at home (most of them though).'
