Getting there Alastor. When making a pose i like to replicate it myself to see what parts of the model i should bend. Most fighting stances the feet are shoulder length apart for balance . I like the gun but it has more effect if its up and down . The other hand sould be a bit farther away so it doesnt blend in to much .

Alastor, I agree with tasquah, concidering the colors your using change the pistol in the left hand to an "up and down" oriantation. The "gangsta" grip looks cool in the movies, but it is almost never used in real life. Also, the gun will be more visable that way, instead of blending into the gray of the costume. You can move the right hand out form the body a bit an also straighten that pistol up a bit, giving it more visablity, as well. Kick the right leg back some, to give her a wider, more stable base. I'm waiting to see how this works out. It really shows great promise, the character is beautiful. She is based on the P4 woman, right? mike

Her legs are very awkward, especially with the direction the feet point. If she were swinging around for a shot, her left leg would swing out as well. My advise is to physically stand up and try the pose to see how easy/difficult it is to do. My suggestion is to swing the left leg out, foot pointing in the direction of her hands, and for her to be descending into a partial crouch. If someone's shooting at you, you want to make yourself a smaller target, anyway. One of the best pieces of advise I ever read for posing in artwork is to imagine each action from begining to end and only show the begining or ending stance. (Think of a baseball pitcher - the exciting poses are the start of the wind-up and the release of the ball. Everything in-between looks awkward or dull.) Hope this helps!

i understand what you are saying. but this is the pose from dazs freebie steph trix shots. i just played around with the arms. im pretty sure i wont use this pose for my finish anyway. i cant really show too much action with this pose.
