Well - as now all the old stuff from last year and before is being categorized in CDs I'm searching for some new ideas: I think in about a month (hopefully) I'll re-open 'Posing is an art' Not that it is really closed but it really really needs a facelifting ... And ... what is a reopening without any new stuff ?? nothing - right ... lol But I don't want to do poses that're not used ... so please give me some hints. I need to know: 1st - what character ?? (Vicky, Mike, Don, Judy, dog, cat mouse ??) solo-ones, combined-ones ?? 2nd - Maybe with special clothing ?? 3rd - what pose - maybe you have some images or some special ideas ... Oh - did I forget to mention ?? ... those poses for the reopening are for free :o) I was starting to do some Vicky/Mike-fantasy-poses but maybe we do have enough poses of such kind ... so, I NEED YOUR HELP !! Happy posing (and don't let me hang loose) Schlabber

Hi Schlabber - I'm new to this community but well aware of your excellent and generous work. My suggestions are ordinary, really - and just examples. Perhaps they already exist elsewhere although I haven't seen them. 1) How many small ways we sit at a table - feet stretched under the table; head on hand with arm balanced on elbow; head cupped in two hands with elbow on table; head resting on arms flat on table; two folks across from each other holding hands, arms stretched across the table, etc 2) Cooking 3) washing face, brushing teeth, fixing hair at the sink 4) many ways a woman holds a baby while sitting, standing, or, putting the baby down, picking it up - putting it to rest, 5) playing with a dog - walking it, throwing a stick, petting it, hugging it, putting its dish down on the floor 6) Gardening poses Thanks so much for inviting suggestions, Barb

How about some poses for the new Lara Croft figure by Ironbear and company? There are a few included but some more would be good. Also, one of my favourite characters is the Gremlin and some more poses for him would be handy. BTW I think you do an outstanding job with all of your poses. Keep up the good work.

Hello Schlabber! And i Wish you a Great New year! Well, i would like lots of Poses for the new Mil Dragon! Man, this baby has way too many BodyParts! LOL it took me 30 minutes to make a half decent pose for my pic "Chaotic Wish...". So i guess General poses of him(It): Flying, Sitting, Sleeping, Attack, Defensive, etc... And if you don't have it, let me know! I'll buy it for you!(No kidding!) Well, Take Care! Marco(Aka Viomar)

There are a couple of poses in your fantasy stuff that I love. Vicki looking over her shoulder back at the camera. I've played with moving one of the Royo ones around, but you sure would do it better. This could (I hope) be done with lots of body poses, just getting that head turning around and looking back, up. down, etc.. All of the poses featuring the back of the body...The ones I've tried playing with have turned out okay, but have played hell with the clothing I had on her.

Online Now!

Mill Dragon is good! Maybe semi-human ones for the Dragon Folk? Silly cartoonish situations like you did for the Kitty?

I like poses of various body parts that I can put together - like just hand poses, necks and heads, legs, hips, torso. That kind of thing. I really like casual non-extreme poses of how folks would look when talking with each other - natural real-life gentle gesturing. V3 - MillDragon would be great - Mike, Vicky or MillKids looking at things they are holding in their hands - or showing them to others. Thanks for everything!! :-) -dg

Ohh I like dragongirl's sugestions. Lots of poses are easy to get its feet and hands i have trouble with the most. Yah gots to get in real close and do it one at a time. Maybe a few mouse tail ones as well. I hope your feeling better .

pdxjims ( ) posted Sat, 04 January 2003 at 8:16 PM

Definitly everyday poses. And casual couple poses, conversation poses, parent and child caring poses. We've got ton's of great sword and fantasy poses (the best by you), but very few showing human interaction like holding a child or wiping a face. Cooking poses. People with their pets. Friends interacting in unity and conflict. It'll be good to see your site updated again. I learned more about posing just looking at how you did it than from any tutorial.

Every day poses would be fantastic.

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 04 January 2003 at 11:09 PM

I'd request animations (perhaps some walk and run cycles for various animals), but that would be too much work.

Cin- ( ) posted Sun, 05 January 2003 at 1:18 AM

Every day poses would be excellent, but even more so, I'd love to see you do something in the realm partial pose construction kits... like dragongirl suggested... the ability to take bits and pieces and put them together into multiple combinations is much more useful than static poses.

lmckenzie ( ) posted Sun, 05 January 2003 at 2:34 AM

If you want to do something with clothing, I'd suggest the most popular ree outfits from BatLab, etc. I love that you often incluse hair poses. Please do some hair poses using Koz' great free hair styles.

How about combined poses for the Daz Toonimal kitty, puppy & mouse :)

Graham_B ( ) posted Sun, 05 January 2003 at 6:36 AM

and another vote from me for dragongirls excellent suggestion, a "pose kit" would be fantastic. Perhaps that would be too large an undertaking for a freebie, but it's still a fabulous idea, a future cd collection in your store maybe?

Hallo Schlabber, just poses are static, they do not use the major advantage of such an animation software as Poser. To my mind it should be series of poses, which could be used as key frames to construct a movement. These series should allow different combinations in order to design different movements (a kind of construction kits for different themes) . For example ballet or other dance stiles. The figures should be definitely Michael, Victoria 2, and 3. There are very few bvh-s for their skeletons on the market. Credo has some, but I faced problems with them. This could provide a great support for the people who are not so sophisticated in posing as you are. Vielen Dank im voraus, mit freundlichen Grsen, Axel

Schlabber ( ) posted Mon, 06 January 2003 at 7:30 AM

Steve ... mail me over your snail-mail address ... and I need to know if you have a DVD inside your PC ... thank you Well - that's enough ideas for the next weeks ... :o) - but please, all, don't stop ... At the moment I can't do any animotions ... it'ld need to much time for me to make animations ... sorry, maybe when I loose my job ... lol (but you can be assured I don't plan to ;o)

lapid4444 ( ) posted Fri, 24 January 2003 at 12:04 AM

First, thanks for everything.

I also would like more everyday poses, like working on the computer... two people work on the same computer and talking to each other. Casual debating over something...

And I also would like those partial poses that some persons already mentioned. I also would like very much to put them together in a way that fits the idea that I am working on.
