Of course, you can get plants from everywhere from the web. there is no restriction in importing objects, plants..., no importance if you create it or find it somewhere. Tou can find beautiful vines, trees, plants at Planit3d and other places, just have a look at the links to free stuff in the FAQ section. :-)Guitta

Its time to start a new challenge. This year, we will make it a little more difficult. The winner of each monthly challenge will submit a photo, a postcard or a painting of a landscape or an interior view and we all will try to reproduce it as well as possible in Vue. Of course, the submitted photos must be doable in Vue, even for users who have not Poser or a modeler. Our winner of the December challenge, ShadowWind has submitted the photo above with the graceful permission of the creator, copperboy1. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=181824&Form.sess_id=2644454&Form.sess_key=1041761146 This goes for our January 2003 challenge. You are asked to reproduce as exactly as possible this photo, as well in its colors as its shape. Reproduce, not interprete. This means you should not create a free interpretation of this image, it has to look as much as possible like the original, otherwise it will not be accepted. MINOR postwork is allowed, but dont clone parts from the original to your image and try to get the right colors directly in Vue. Only one submission per participant. But Each participant must submit both versions of his image. 1. The pure Vue image (maximum 800x600) 2. The post worked image (maximum 800x600 and 180KB) 3. A thumbnail for each image, 180 width and maximum 15 KB. The less postwork you do, the more chances you will have to win. Your images will be uploaded anonymous. Thats why it should not be shown anywhere on the web before the challenge is finished. Please send your images and thumbnails ALL TOGETHER, or in 2 or more parts, but the same day!!! to gebe@renderosity.com Sendings that doesn't contain the 4 files (in 1, 2 or more parts, but here again the same day!!!) cannot be accepted. If you dont do any postwork, you can send only your Vue image with the thumbnail, but then indicate in your mail NO POSTWORK. Dont forget to indicate your Renderosity user name. I have lost much time last November to write mails to ask for the user name and missing thumbs. I will not do this anymore. I will ignore uncomplete mails. Sorry for that, but my time is spear. Challenge starts today, January 5 and goes until January 30. Good luck and I hope you have fun with this new challenge. Guitta
