I'll post the script one of these days. We will be needing an animatable 'organic' alien with a mouth that can also change shape relatively easy in order to let it show some emotion other than with it's eyes and body. Maybe you could already try to make such an alien (wich will probably be a metaball creature)? We will also need a planet on wich the alien lives. If possible we need these scenes: -a launch-area on the planet from wich it's UFO can take off. -a sky-scene to show the UFO flying through the atmosphere. -a space view of the planet. You could start by making some of that if you can't wait to get started.

Shouldn't the scrip be collaboration as well? Is this a remake of Aliens? And who is taking part?

I've got an idea for a plot outline. Dunno if it would go over well, but it couldn't hurt to suggest. Make a short titled "Escape from Area 51". The movie would be about an alien who has a spaceship malfunction (it hits a tiny asteroid and computer gets fried) and wrecks (somewhere in a desert, of all places.) When he wakes up, he finds himself strapped down to a stretcher amongst a bunch of army guys. And the story continues from there... I'd tell the story with a humorous and not too serious cartoony style.

I thought of making a red line that makes the basic story. There is very much artistic freedom. The style, timing, camera movement/angles, even the actions in the scene are up to the person that makes the specific scene. I have an Idea like 'down in the dumps meets Michael Valiant' for the main story line. I'll post a basic script later today and then anyone tell if they like it, if they want to change it. There'll be lot's of freedom. Pauljs75. We could add some of your idea to the script. it's a cool idea.
