What a wonderful concept. Love it

Oh...this is beautiful.

Looks really good.

Ohhh, this has great atmosphere! Really feels like a snow scene. Two things to suggest: if the three trunks are ambient, maybe turn down the ambience a tad. Second, put some crud at the bottom of the trees so it looks like real winter. If you ned some download the ground cover pack here: http://home.earthlink.net/~cogeniac/ Beware the site is very old and I've not maintained it for a very long time so I hope the links still work.

Cool scene. I agree with madmax's suggestions. It's a really good image.

Excellent job! If that ground pack has any pitted snow (the way it looks after trees have been dripping on it) it make the scene look even more like late winter/early spring. Lin

Thanks for the compliments and I especially appreciate the suggestion for improvement. I think they are good ones. I will go download the ground rubbish and re-render and see what I come up with. LynnDee

I keep coming back to look at this. Lots of evergreens (pines, cedars) in Tennessee. Some of my fondest memories are walking through the woods around my home after it snows. We don't get as much snow as states further north, usually gets 3-6 in. of wet snow at best. This image evokes those walks so well I can almost smell the evergreens.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.
