I'm working up some poses as part of my next set, I thought I'd post the pic. Does't she pose well? V2 wouldn't be able to do nearly as well, I think.

Wow, these are nice....who's the girl with the "full" hips.. V2 or V3?

Jim Burton ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 11:02 AM

Thanks! They are all Glamorous Vickie, who is based on V3. She isn't quite as thin as my previous characters, I tried not to just repeat Supermodel Vickie. BTW, I always name my poses with proper names, these are: Crossed Over I'm Cold My Heel is Loose Not Impressed Pensive Walkabout Not Now, Please! Dreaming Modest

Just wonderful...Sharen

They are wonderful. May be I'll buy V3 someday after all. Compiler

Thanks, guys! Yeah, it is a tough choice, V2 clothing is never going to fit her all that well, and the different texture maps and all that stuff, Oh My! She also requires a better computer, but my now-growing-old computer hasn't had any problems. But she is a major step forward, I'd say, a bigger improvement over V2 than Vickie was over the Posette. I was trying out some of the DAZ morphs on GV, I think they did a better job on them then the V2 ones as well, I think I'm going to have a "recommended" morph set of DAZ morphs for GV, in addittion to the ones I'm suppling.

Yes, Jim, they look nice and it's an extra nice touch to give "real names". Just a quick question...from the subject, it appears you have enclosed V2 instead of V3. SO, reading your text, it appears this is really V3 above. Right?

canary3d ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 3:09 PM

yeah jim, you left an I out of your subject line...:)

Jim Burton ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 6:15 PM

Opps! Yep, your right, where talking about V3, not V2!

Nice Jim Some very nice poses- and I like your naming strategy :-) I can almost hear "her" saying "I'm cold." I ALMOST skipped reading this since I am "V3 Crazy" right now. Then I thought "I bet he means V3..." I am Glad you are able to take action on that German/US Ebay crook. I found out a model I once worked with was selling the image (I made her into an Angel")-but then I did not tell her she could'nt and I am fond of her so I let it ride, What HE is doing is CLEARLY illegal and for his own profit.... GRRRRRRRR! Eric Walters

Jim, I'll start by saying I've always loved your stuff. But I've never been satisfied with SMV's overly-muscled middle. (weight lifters have those, not supermodels) Now, the vertical line running down GV's stomach is just too much. I've never seen a real woman with a line like that unless it was a scar. Will buyers be able to morph that away?

wadams9 ( ) posted Thu, 09 January 2003 at 9:07 PM

You're a wizard as ever, Jim. I've yet to get a nice-looking slim V3 with good legs, using DAZ morphs. But I haven't been trying that long yet.

Jackson- The DAZ texture might be exagerating (sp) the crease a little, here is what it looks like sans texture, with a pic of Gisele Bundchen who seems to have one... ;-) Simple enough to add a morph though, I already have one that cranks in or takes out the defining on the sides of the stomach.

If it's easy will you do it then please? Here are a few pics I found of "super models." It's how I remember that particular area. Thanks.

It's already added, was no problem! Here is a shot with it turn up and the "defined" morph (which I actually put in to make the belly side creases stronger) run backwards a bit. Incidently, I'm planning to add my own set of empty morph acceptors in addittion to the DAZ ones, so I can add things like this in the future.
