You're on an "asking" spree. There's a bit of a difference. Sit down, read the manual and take a little time to figure out some things on your own and then you'll be off on a "learning" spree. I'll even give you a head start. If you're using PS7 the functions of the slice tool are very well defined on page 289.

"Back up" comes with a manual these days? Just kidding, just kidding. Ahem. Runs and hides from retrocity

The answer is "What is a rectangular area of an image that you can use to create links, rollovers, and animations in the resulting Web page."

"That's CORRECT!" "Choose your next question"
I'll take SLICES for $200 Alex

The question is "WHAT ADVANTAGE IS THERE?"

Ummm... BUZZZ

The answer is "Dividing an image into slices lets you selectively optimize it for Web viewing."

... Sorry i just happen to be watching Jeopardy ;)

WHACK sorry Grim...about the "Back up ;)
BTWF1 would eliminate most questions

Slice tool is a useful function within Image Ready for Web Designers. However, Adobe, in their infinite wisdom have decided to drop it into Photoshop in an attempt to get it to do everything including make the coffee. Sorry, but Photoshop is getting cluttered with irrelavant functions and gimmicks.
