This is a test render (P5 draft) for a V3 Japanese character on which I'm working. The texture is V3 Mat HiRes with tone applied. The hair is Chitose Hair (for now) and the kimono is PoserWorld's Basic Kimono - scaled, pushed, and pulled to fit a shortened V3. The tatami mats were thrown together in C4D, remapped in UVMapper, and textured from the only image that I could find online - somebody's web page background (which meant instant tiling success - yippee). Just thrilled to be able to do a Japanese face that looks Japanese. Used a set of pics of some woman from a Japanese magazine for reference - not trying to model her exactly, just to get the right features. - BeatYourSoul

Very nice. Almost makes me want to go back to Okinawa.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

Absolutely beautiful. The tatami are a nice touch. But shouldn't it be Vicky-chan?

Vicky-chan would be more appropriate. Either that or San-san? :) Going to work on some furniture and a room (some walls at least) next. Can't wait for Michael3 to make a male character as well - samurai. I want to make them for the Ashikaga period, but, as you can see, the PW Kimono is really Edo (or later) period clothing. This might be an excuse for me to learn how to create clothing of my own.
