Ok, I checked it out. You know, it's not a bad price for such a thing. Have you seen how much photolibrary images cost? They can be anything from 25 up to 250. That's about $37 - $370.

Maybe this person is just doing a test market to see if his photos would sell here? I am surprised that a single photograph that is in a jpg format would be valued at $25 (since it could be sold over and over again), but I suppose it depends on finding the right buyer.

Like I said, someone will buy it. Just thought it was a tad steep for something you can only download and look at. Course I don't buy photolibrary images either, take them for myself to get exactly what I want. Not slamming it just surprised me. Marque

Pretty enought to frame and hang on a wall. Not convenient though, if I gotta download it (or even get it burned on cd) and find someplace to have it printed, matted, framed, etc...not to mention the added cost. Now if it was already printed (on acid free paper), matted, framed, etc...I might consider it even at a higher price. Nice idea...don't think it will work here...course someone might come along and buy it...who knows...

It is alot, but people who need good quality photography pay lots for them, just like people pay alot for good quality, detailed models. We pays hundreds of dollars for photography to use in emails and ads ... but then again, I'm talking a large corporation, not a single individual, which is pretty much the audience here.

We'll never know if anyone actually buys it. Maybe there should be a counter on a MP page that says how many times something sold here. I'd be nice to know when your considering buying something. I'd be lot more likly to make a purchase if 100 people had already gotten something.

not turbosquid?? heck, i saw a small (about 400x or less) jpg image for sale there for a LOT more. like 150$ (not to mention, the person didn't even make the image, they stole it from audre... but that's another story.)

I'd like to see such a counter too. It would make decisions on both buying and selling somewhat easier to estimate.

Non-commercial use only is contrary to the renderosity license. Wonder how that got through?

oh my, how fortuitous...in that my sister took the other day on her cam a picture of a fountain in a frozen formation.....perhaps I should tell her to become a merchant. ;) All that aside, I thought it was via the rendero license commercial usage was allowed with purchased MP items.
