Yes! This is my very same problem, contacted CL support and they say they plan to patch this at a later date. Hope CL survive long enough to do so!! I have managed to export a figure as OBJ file and get some of the texture maps over to Vue, but you have to click through the folders yourself to find the maps. Happy hunting! It is way from perfect but will give you something to work with, you can add your owm textures once in VUE regards rokol

Thanks Rokol, I tried pulling my mermaid over in OBJ format, but lost most of her dynamic hair and ALL of the textures. My feeble attempt at skin is pretty bad in Vue. If you have any pointers on how you do it, I'd be much obliged!! Thanks again! Akenaton

Nice to hear CL said they plan to patch it. That would be very nice indeed. jon

If you have Poser 4 you can do this to use P5 for your poser work before importing into Vue. I had to do this because when I dropped back to P4 to use it with P5 I kept getting all those newer version messages everytime I opened something in P4. Put all your models in the P4 Runtime folder. Point Vue to the Poser 4 exe and link P5 to your P4 Runtime. Do you work in P5 and then when you're ready save it as a PZ3 and open in Vue 4. Vue should be able to follow the paths and everything should checkout. This has worked for me since I tried it. However I haven't tried hair or clothing yet. Vue tends to ignore my P5 Mats too.

Put all your models in the P4 Runtime folder. That should be put all your library, texture and geometry folders in the proper P4 Runtime.

I understand that dynamic hair does not import into Vue. Period. However, transmapped hair will.

Poser 5 is not supported by Vue yet. Don't even try. You need to have Poser 4 installed. Guitta

Hello akenaton! There is a hard way to do this if you only have P5. First you must find a freeware program (it is here on Renderosity, somewhere) it is called "accutrans 3D" Install this. Use Poser to export your work as an obj file to a emty directory. Do not include ground if you don't need it.Use multiple frame export, set the value between 10-15, you do not need 30 who are default.Start accutrans and multiple open files. After program has finished importing, save as an obj/3DS file. Import into Vue.Voilla... Happy painting:-))
