If, IF I buy Millie, and I convert the Nerd Stuff, it will be for sale on BBay. (Since Zygote doesn't want to issue "developer kits" to the people who create the props to make her usefull, rant, rave, gripe, belly ache) Are Y'all interested? Will any body actually buy any thing? Cast your votes here. If there is enough interest, I'll get busy.

I know I would. I use your stuff all the time. The impractical stuff would be a great addition to Millie/Vic Ed

i would too , i have all your stuff, so i would definatly get anything you make in the fantasy type clothing :o) Matt

Online Now!

after Breaking down a getting Victoria, I have have had limited success in useing her. To date I have make a Zebra like female a texture anyway and a tiger female. I would say to you Ole' Nerd Master I would buy stuff from you as long as i could buy it online and not ahve to speak to a person ( I have to admit the way zygote handles the transaction is very cool, now if Bbay could do the same) But the armor you made is cool enough that i would buy it ( still waiting on that armor dress you mentioned you were looking into) I noticed that the bikini zygote sells for 10.00 is still in the free section hmmm. Nerd-- I am a big fan of your work, but I find that a great deal of it is not what I end up rendering. I simply don't get inspired to render the kind of things that your meshes are akin to. I wish I did get inspired in that direction. it is ironic, because I loved D and D and fantasy and the whole thing. I would say that I would love to buy stuff you make that would be a bit more on the normal side. Since Millie is all new, it would be good to have stuff made for her from scratch, which I know would be time consuming and a pain, but like Allie said, it would be hard to pay for stuff that already exists for free. Your work is certainly worth compensation on the other hand. Let me put it another way... If I needed it and I knew where to find it, I would get it whether it was free or not. First, I would try to make the old stuff work. Also, I wouldn't want to spend much on items that were on the fringe that I may only use once or twice for a work that I'll never get paid for :) Hope that makes sense -Darth_Logice

Boy, Y'all are a big help! My mind is just as not made up now as it was before! Would NEW stuff that fits Millie be more of what you need? Allie, I havn't seen a plain render of Millie yet. Is she really that ugly? I've got a new item in the works that will be a Posette (maybe for millie too) item and it will probably go on BBay. It has been described as Witchblade like. Darth, off the fringe would not be impractical! Not to fear, I have some more "normal" stuff planed. nerd

Nerd, I bought Victoria (with hair and texture maps) and I really like the stuff you made but I rather would use Posette with free stuff then buying special stuff for Victoria...

When Millie/Vicky has a fairly complete range of clothes, such as that which comes with Poser4, I'll start using her in sequential art. The sooner that comes about, the better. Until then, she's just another pretty face.

well, I would pay for some wardrobe basics like a cat suit, long skirt, blouse with loose sleeves. These are the building blocks I would/could use to create textures and transmaps for a full wardrobe. You may want to wait for about a week, because Zygote implied they would have the first clothing pack for Millie for sale by then.

rtamesis ( ) posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 10:10 AM

I'd pay for Vicky stuff like riding boots, pants to go with it as well as a trenchcoat or long coat, maybe even a furcoat, stockings like those made by Traveller in Bbay and an evening dress (both long and short) and different styles of high heel shoes to go with that too.

melanie ( ) posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 10:26 AM

Oh, yes, I could use clothes for Vickie. I really like working with her, but she's very limited right now because of her lack of wardrobe. I'm finding myself using Vickie more than Posette now, which surprises me, as I thought I wouldn't have a use for her. Posette almost seems primitive to me now, but I still use her as well, simply because I have clothes for her. I don't think she's ugly at all, however, as the old addage goes, "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder." It's all in how each individual sees things. Melanie

mikes ( ) posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 10:35 AM

Nerd--no, she's not all that ugly, just ordinary. Lots of morphs have been posted that fix her up a bit, but she's still not compelling enough that I would want to populate the fantasy worlds I create with images of my sister! I'm going to wait for the next version (Millie 3000?) I hope you can continue to do your magic on Posette. (and maybe an occasional freebie?)

rtamesis ( ) posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 7:12 PM

For me, Victoria is now the model I exclusively use. Her face is so easy to modify to create a rich set of characters, unlike Posette.

Darth_Logice ( ) posted Sun, 30 April 2000 at 8:25 PM

I was able to recreate my character, Shayda, in five hours on Millie. Most of that was texture issues. Morphing was the easy part. Actually, she looks ever-so-slightly different, and I like her better now. She's still got the same features but she looks more realistic. I was calling for the crusade against this figure, but I must say...my foot needs a little bit of salt and maybe some barbeque sauce. I'm seldom wrong, but on this, I was way off target. -darth_Logice
