Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 20 6:12 am)
Not within P4, but an object can be remapped for self-tiling with Steve Cox's UVMapper. Ohman and Steve outlined the procedure in this thread from June 2000.
(Ain't a search function wonderful!?)
Also in the market place is Dial-A-Tile by RoyG. Reallt versatile and easy to use. I use it for almost all my walls.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

There is a setting in Poser 5 that will let you do tileing. Poser 4 and Pro Pak cannot do it alone.A tool like UV Mapper can tile objects, which can then be imported into Poser.
Dial-A-Tile works in Poser 4, ProPak, and Poser 5. It can tile up to 40 times across, It can tile asymmetrically, and it can flip textures, and it can do it inside Poser with a dial. It will only work on it's own flat surface though you can bring in more to form shapes.
The link above is for a thread about the Dial-A-Tile in the showcase forum if your interested. Or send me an IM if you have any questions on the Dial-A-Tile.
Thanks for the kind words ernyoka1 (TrekkieGrrrl)

I keep seeing references here-n-there to "tiling textures" on props and things in Poser. I'm assuming this means you have a small textures graphic of say, maybe 4 floor tiles. And then you apply it to a bigger object and it "tiles" across the object - as opposed to getting just 4 squares s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out across the entire object. Is there some setting in Poser that lets you do this? If so, am I blind and have just missed it?
