I wouldn't be surprised if Anthony Appleyard had something in the works. He already has a bunch of stuff from the UFO series in Free Stuff.
Take a look at this site:
Gerry Anderson Craft and Other Computer Models
Beryld - do you remember the show Gerry Anderson was going to make but dropped it because it was too depressing? He wanted to make something a little more serious than the puppet shows, and worked out a storyline for a huge "end of the world" concept titled "Project SWORD". There were toys produced, all kinds of characters developed, and they even published a book (I still have a copy). Anyhow, once that idea was scrapped, he went to work on UFO.

Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker, STAR TREK: TNG) is set to direct the next Thunderbirds movie. Unfortunately, rather than going with either 3D technology or Supermarionation, he is casting 8-16 year olds in place of the Tracys. There was something about wanting to make it on the order of Spy Kids, which to me is very disappointing. BTW, I think there were a few models here at one time, but I could be mistaken. Hopefully if there is enough interest, some modelers may decide to make a few.
Was UFO the one you could tell who the aliens were by the way the little finger stuck out to the side? There were so many shows back then, Land fo the Giants, Time Tunnel, Back to BC/ I think thats what it was called, and not to forget the start of Star Trek. Every once in awhile the SciFi station will do a marathon. The old days. Tashar 59
beryld - that show was "The Invaders". The aliens in UFO wore space suits and "beathed" a liquid, IIRC. They kidnapped humans for spare part surgery.

"breathed" I mean. It's kinda hard to type with my little finger stuck out to one side. :)

The Project SWORD book had a lot of (uncredited) stills from 2001, too. Wonder how they got away with that?

Thunderbirds are shown every day on the Tech TV channel. You don't have to be a certain age bracket to see them. They are on, here and now. If you have digital TV, Tech TV has all kinds of cool and interesting stuff for all types of geeks. My favorite is "Screen Savers" a show on computers and related items, and hints. One of the co-hosts is Leo La Porte, you might remember him from the late, lamented (by me, at least)show, "The Site". A bit of trivia for Site fans - he was also the voice and motion provider for the electronic character Dev Null. Soledad O'Brien is one of the news people on MSNBC,now.

Does anybody know if any of the Thunderbird craft from Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds are available in 3D? Just wondering. Thanks for the help. Thoth
