I saw that the tutorials were being revised. It sounds great, but what I desperately need is a dictionary of what terms mean. Think of the poor beginner....think of yourself before you became an expert. I don't understand what many manuals and tutorials are trying to describe because the authors don't bother to define the words they use, assuming I was born knowing what it means to refer to material is procedural or what an alternate ambient is. Take pity on the newbie...some of us have no clue what specular nodes are except that it sounds dangerously like a skin disease. I can't believe I'm the only one mystified by the language that is used. It would be very helpful to some of us to have a place to go where these mystical terms are defined in a clear way (and it is not helpful to define specular nodes by referring to its ambient dexterity...I made that up as a exercise in frustration...it is all gobbledygook to me).

There's a great need for a good one - Nearly all the 3D dictionaries online have either gone dead-link or pretty much obsolete for lack of updates. Even a fairly good one like that at the link suffers from over-technicalese (?!) plus there's always some variation between the terminologies, features, technologies, and implementations in each Software Package. I know a good, basic, easy-to-read glossary that covers Poser 5 (for instance) would be a wonderful contribution and a great benefit for a lot of us!
