Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 13 7:03 am)
Here is a couple of pointers on conforming hair- With the exception of the V3 update, you should conform the hair to the figure, just like any item of clothing, THEN apply the fitting pose, if required. The standard fit is for Hi-Fashion Vickie, Supermodel Vickie or V1-V2-V3 with a slightly scaled up head (I like to scale about 103% PLUS another 104% in X, too), incidently. The Victoria III fitter will also work like that, OR it can be applied before conforming, OR you can just re-save the hair as a new figure after appling it. When I do my next hair set (some super, super LONG hair) I'll look at all the fitters again and see if I can get them all working like the V3 one. And get one working for Mike, too!

Daz has finally gotten the hair updates up, I find the DAZ wheels grind very slowly, but they grind excedingly fine! ;-) Details are: Las_Vegas and San-Francisco hair has a Victoria III fitting pose, and yes, it is different than the one I put up a couple of weeks ago, works better when V3 twists her pretty head. I didn't allow for the fact that V3's head axis isn't straight up and down in the first one. Hollywood hair (just the longer version) now has a new CR2 that converts it from a prop to fully-conforming hair, to bring it up to my current standard. There are some addittional morphs, (I think), plus it also has the V3 fitting pose, which of course all conforming hair needs. and aren't we glad that we used an external OBJ file that lets us come back and do this! The shorter (Bobbed) hair just got the extra morphs that were around for awhile. Oh, I almost forgot - there is also a new color and I made a full set of MAT poses too, with work for the prop hair and/or the conforming version. We're good, we're good! Have fun! ;-) Upgrades are free, of course. I think new customers will automatically get the new versions, too.
