What programs are good for creating models of people? Are there any helpful tutorials out there?

I'd like it to work with poser as well, but that's not so important.

there are alot of links and coments on different modeling softwares in the Modeling Forum, I've seen great stuff done in all of them. best thing to do is start downloading freebies or demos, and find out which one you like the best, or likes you best, which is often the case :)
