OK Cain, let's be positive. The following facts are positively true: 1. You started this thread because you were annoyed about getting e-bots from the TOS thread in the VT. You've been around this site plenty long enough to know about unchecking the "Email me when someone replies" box. It's your fault you were getting e-bots and you could have stopped it. 2. You don't get to decide what other people discuss in any thread, whether you started it or not. That's the mod's job, and Kevin did a very good job of it, as he always does. The Tavern is open to all members: in theory, anyone in the world can post to the threads there. If you don't like how the thread went, don't read it, and uncheck the "Email me..." box. That way, you'll never see it again. 3. No-one deleted any thread, as you have falsely claimed. One was locked, with an explanation by the mod who locked it. That mod explained afterwards why he locked it too, he explained how you could achieve your aims more sucessfully in the future, and he invited you to come back any time. Please stop making false claims about other people's actions and behaviour. 4. You also don't get to decide who posts to any thread. Please stop telling people not to post. 5. I'm the person that complained about your advertising thread in the Tavern. I considered it spam, and clearly a number of other people did too, including moderators. As CyberStratch pointed out earlier, we all have different tolerance for spam. But I know I wasn't the first person to complain. Slynky had complained that you were spamming before I did, and you told him to kiss your ass. That's flaming, whichever way you look at itand it put you in breach of the TOS. It also signalled very clearly that you weren't listening to people who had problems with your behaviour. I could have replied to your thread in less robust terms, but I figured that had already been tried and failed. 6. If you're concerned about being flamed, don't do it to others. Your responses to my posts were very sarcastic, and that will get you into an argument anywhere on the web. At least I was direct about what I said, if not necessarily polite. If you don't want an argument, don't bait one. Again, you've been around for plenty long enough to know this. 7. You need to let this drop now. It's gone on long enough and you're making yourself look foolish. You've been consistently rude and demanding and received a lot of patient explanation in return. No-one owes you an apology so you're not about to get one. You're the one creating a problem and it's time to stop.

Alright, here is a positive contribution. 1) I concur completely with Management. No Spam URLS or ADVERTSING of Pyramid schemes in the forum. It makes the whole forum seem trashy. 2) LEGITIMATE advertisements for commerically available products should be posted in the Product Showcase. 3)Any links to Pyramid schemes or websites with ENDLESS commerical or Top 100 site/Voting pop-up windows should be deleted without warning in every instance in every forum. Posters should be informed that it will not be tolerated. Repeated postings from the same member should be banned. 4)Members who post across several forums with the intention to disrupt or circumvent a Mod decision should be banned. There, you have my POSITIVE opinion on your dilemma. Any more inspid and benign aspersions to my character to delight and astound me pertaining to my opinion?
