Great tut, pidjy. I love making curtains and drapery by this method, using either a terrain or lattice object. Here is a link to a recent pic where I painted the dish cloth onto a lattice object. The plate in the picture is also a lattice object. TjohnThis is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Many thanx pidjy, I always tried to make believable covering drapes but I wasn't able to do it. I tried one in my "Warm Posing" image, but I wasn't so satisfied by the result. So your tut (and I'm surely one of those who asked you to post it!) is really useful to me. Thanx again! StefanoThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. I've been asked how did I make the drape covering a body in my latest pic... So here is how to do. 1 Draw a drape B&W image based on the body scale (with photoshop or other prog) be sure to soften the image to avoid sharp edges. 2 In bryce make a terrain, once in the terrain editor set the terrain res to max, then import the drape map and apply it to the terrain (Add some smooth if necessary) 3 Set the terrain to "positive", duplicate it and set the second terraion to "negative". Decrease the negative terrain scale and add two negatives cube to both side of the terrains to "cut" them.. and group the terrain and cubes. 4 cut the body part that will be covered by the drape using some negatives cube grouped with the body (set to positive) Now just add some textures.. and here it is!
