Got Poser5 and already tired of July? No one can blame you.. I suppose You don't have Victoria1. In my opinion the question is basically about how much faster is your machine. P5 is "per se" slower than P4, then Vic3 is about 60.000 polygons while Vic2 about 25.000, and that really matters if you want to render something a bit complex (good textures, some cloth, some prop...)without having a real High-end machine. Vic3 has quite a lot more morphs than her previous sister (You can even turn her in a realistic male), but I'd say that, especially if you're not familiar with Vicky, Vic2 should be a quite good choice (I suppose now she's cheaper than before at DAZ, and then you can upgrade her to Vic3 without buying a total new character). In my opinion Vic2 has everything average people can desire: you can morph her face and her body in a real wide range of ways (and still have some morphs you never tried). Essentially you have problems only with complex articulations (i.e: hips and knees) at high degrees of bending/twisting, but nothing you can't adjust with an easy and fast postwork. I suppose Vic3 is a little better at that considering the big amount of polygons. The real flaw of Vic2 is genitals (just a "pubic detail" morph that's at least...sketchy), but Vic3 is not a lot better at that (look at Arduino's PerfectG in MarketPlace) and you'll always have to buy some upgrade (or do it yourself if you're good at)to give her something realistic and functional. By the way, someone at DAZ has to got real an issue with female genitals; it's not a question of being a pervert or not: if you can have an almost perfectly realistic mouth, hand or breast, why not genitals?! Considering the better fate of Mike I'd say it's something really Freudian (shrink's word). In the end, if you're not a "skin-pore maniac" I'd go for Vic2 (she has a lot of conforming clothes that fit very well, too)first, and then upgrade to Vic3. You can even buy them both, but, if you've not got a real good machine I'll don't relay on Vic3 only (always better have something with less polygons for more crowded scenes). Hope that helped. If not, just don't blame me too much... Alberto
