Subject: Need Some Help With V3 Issues....

mako_dap ( ) posted Wed, 22 January 2003 at 1:10 AM ยท edited Fri, 24 January 2025 at 2:34 PM

I just got V3 and have had some issues that I was hoping someone could help me with. 1. How can I manipulate the groin area? I'm not sure how I can change pubic hair or add/morph male genitalia to make a male version from V3. 2. I don't know why... but the TORSO on my figures turn out white while the rest of the figure's sections of V3 are fine and have the correct textures. I have gone into "materials" dozens of times to double check reflections/textures etc and everrything is spot on with all of the other sections of my V3 body. Am I missing something? Can someone throw out some possible scenarios as to why my body textures aren't showing up on the TORSO of my V3 figures. Thanks :)

Are you using V3/V2, V3 tex won't work right. Try deleting the RSR in your geometry folder, poser will create a new one. Pubic hair may have Transparency Min/Max at 100%, turn to 0% it will then show up. Tashar 59

I'm just using V3 and the new textures that came with it. V3 texture won't work right? Is there a bug with it? I thought I couldn't use any V2 textures with V3. All of my settings are exactly the same for each body part. So I'm just baffled as to why I can't see to get the DAZ V3 texture to come up on my TORSO. Hmmmmm....

Hey Mako! I don't know if this is it or not, but you can manipulate the textures of the torso in the !V3MAT pose files, as well as other parts of V3. Maybe something there has set her torso to white. I'm just guessing, though.

Thanks... I'll try that. Just seems odd that it's the one part of the body that doesn't seem to be working quite right.. but I'll give that a go and see what happens.

In your pose file > V3Maps, double click on defalt or all white and see if that works, if not, delet the RSR in the geometry folder. It was late last night so I didn't make myself clear. Tashar 59
