Please let me know what you think! Trees from Tree Druid. Shaders from ClintH and myself. Aeryk71

Sweet! Trees look great, and I love the frosted glass look! One thing I noticed - the tree seems a little too shiny? Maybe decrease the highlight, or add some bump. Brian Retford Carrara Extensions www.losthorizonsoftware.com

I love images that beg questions. On the marble bases, you might want to go in and click the 'shuffle' option in the shaders to redistribute the marble grains for a little variety. If you want a little more image depth, add a little haze to the scene for a bit of atmospheric perspective. Fun work! Mark

Brian, you're right about the tree... I'll have to fix it tonight... Mark, thanks for the ideas for the marble... Right now, it's all one master shader... Guess I'll have to split them up. :-) I'll post an update this weekend. Thanks! Aeryk

I have to agree about liking abmiguous meanings in images.... I like the composition; pretty formal, balanced look. Harkens up stonehenge. One thing that detracts from realism in it is the Brady Physics -- too many suns.... Might have one, much stronger distant light for the sun (or moon). Then you could fill in and create highlights with a couple "specials" (what we call lights used for a particular effect -- backlight, glint in the eye, illumination from a TV, etc -- on a film set). Cool work.
