Subject: Smart Posing?

I've seen this covered awhile ago, but never really needed to know how to do it until now. How do you save multiple character poses so that when you load them it sets the figure to the right position they need to be on the floor? If someone could point me to a tutorial or an application I would appreciate it!

The trick is to position your characters by moving their hip, not their body. Hip translations are saved as part of a pose, body translations are not.

Thank you very much!

Or move the body and use the 'memorize' command before you save. That makes the position the new default, so when you 'alt-click' the parameter dial it returns to the memorized position. mac
