When your using the undo - Bryce and whatever your working on just closes and goes away after around 4 or 5 "undo's" what is this - a Bug Maybe roch222

Yes it's another unfixed bug, it does it on the mac platform as well as the PC. Unlimited multi undos and re-dos didn't make it into the released versions or patch.

Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

I just wish they added more than one undo into the Terrain Editor...

How about an undo-history? that way you can select the excactchange you want to undo. isn't that a nice idea for Bryce 6. hopes Corel reads this 8)

And a "Clear Undo Buffer", so you can free up RAM. Sometimes the Undo can grab a big chunk of memory and the only way to free it up is to re-boot.

The general undo, when I'm working on an image, works fine for me. I've never had any problems with it closing. St Bryce must like me. :) Catlin

Just wish Corel would wake up from whatever cryogenic sleep theyre in, and make a bugfix! God help us all, if theres bugs in the next Bryce (if they ever release one). Based on the "wonderful" support theyre offering now... :(

Unlimited UNDO would eat all the RAM VERY fast in just about any machine. I am assuming that it handles it in the same manner as most photeditors. Holds a prior copy in memory until it is past the specified number of undo's. Very heavy loading sometimes.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

But a good program would offer you to set up the amount of memory for undos. I know I've seen at least one with that feature. Yeah, Photoshop's History would be a very good thing. Not only for Bryce. :-)

Corel's PhotoPaint has that facility. Still hellish on RAM though. I tend to like 3 layers myself as a compromise.
