Who made this fetus model? (It may be the same model that was used to make an image in Renderosity magazine #1.) It is in a file **foetus.zip** with creation date 17 Aug 2001. In it is: foetus2.3DS dated 14 Aug 2001; a thumbnail image and a readme file with creation dates 15 Aug 2001. The readme file says

Hi all this is my first contribution to the community ! I didn't made the model myself , but i found it first ;-) I personaly got some troubles to texture the model ....? dont know how it comes .... Maybey you got it done .. then let me know if ya want ,how you done it ? dvslabs@mailme.nl Greetingzzzz Alll - - - - - -

On the thumbnail image is "FOETUS.3DS" and "DVSLABS 2001". Judging by the spelling foetus rather than fetus, it was made in a country that used British spelling at the time. What looks like genitalia is actually the umbilical cord stump, but it is too low.

Well...if you look at the email addy, it seems to be in the Netherlands. I did a quick search for dvslabs on Dogpile and found this guy here. He's offering some stuff on Rosity too. Look here: http://www.renderosity.com/freestuff.ez?Form.Contrib=dvslabs&Topsectionid=0 on the right one there is a baby in that tube, which looks like the one in your image above.

Foetus is the Dutch naming for fetus. Dutch is one of the languages I speak and I saw this model before, and I am not sure if it is legal to distribute the model. Drazic

I looked at this model entry URL, as Bryde suggested above. That model was a fetus in a test tube; its maker was johnnyfive@mailme.nl , and I emailed him through Renderosity, but my message to him has just been bounced back to me "User unknown". dvslabs@mailme.nl hereinabove said in his readme file in August 2001 "I didn't made the model myself, but I found it first ;-)", so I suspect that this item can be classed as "owner untraceable".

Hello .. i do not know if it is the same model as what you have, but there is a fetus model over at 3D Total. It is in the Free Stuff sections there. troubleTO

I found the page and the entry for the fetus model. There is a note with it that says `feto' by D.Giordano . But when I click on 3dtotal's thumbnail for it, I merely get another info page and no download. Please who is D.Giordano?

The download is at the bottom of the new window when you click on the thumbnail, that will take you to another window with thw choice 3ds or lwo. Tashar 59

Ok...looked around there. On the second download panel there is a link to his website. His name is Darwin Giordano and he does 3d models and such things. I cannot get the page to view, he might have something in his flash coding, but maybe you have success. I don't think it is his model, which you are showing above. The one on the preview image at 3dtotal has his legs much more higher up than the one above and the arms have another position too. But from the look I'd say Giordano's fetus looks a lot better than the one above, so if you are after a fetus model, I'd go with Giordano's :-)

yes I have this model too, but it is not Giordano's which I used on the issue one cover of rendo magazine.
