Subject: HELP! Looking for a bandelero...

Help! The JettBoy has looked all over for a bandelero...you know, one of those linked chains of ammunition Pancho Villa and his hombres wore across their chest/shoulders for easy access. Free would be very cool, but I'll pay a wee bit ('wee bit' being the critical portion of that statement) for a nice looking one. Working on a cowboy/bandito piece, and I've found just about everything else I need. Thanks in advance for the help, you're a wonderful human being, a generous soul and a credit to 3d artists and/or computer geeks the world over. Gracias!

Try searching under ammo and ammunition. If somebody made one for a machine gun or such, and had enough poseable links to it, you could possibly pull the beltpart out and turn it into a separate prop. The other thing I could suggest, if Little Dragon doesn't pop in with leads to ready-made ones, would take more work but would fit around a human. I believe that PhilC (or it could have been Cooler or Maclean or Nerd) made a cross body sash such as that worn by beauty queens and New Year's babies. This would already conform. You would have to add a few dozen cylinder props and a grungy leather texture, but if you are composing a scene with banditos folks will probably not inspect too closely the caliber of the ammo. (pun intended, of course) Carolly

* twiddles thumbs innocently *

Try Sturkwurk's Deathstroke characters at AniMotions.

Free Stuff --> Comic --> DC Characters --> Page 2

The characters both have bandoliers, although they are not conforming figures. Instead, they're a collection of identical props (three bullets and a section of strap) parented to the characters' chests. I suppose they could be made into a conforming figure without too much difficulty.
