Subject: P5 Hair, how do I save the pieces?

Using the hair room I made a hairstyle, it has seven "parts". I used a skullcap too. I'd like to save the hair to my library for future use. If I'm remembering what I read a few months back, I need to save the skullcap. So, do I save the skullcap and then each of the pieces of the hairstyle seperately in the library? I'm confused. Thank you for any help with this.

Hey Kasheera, I just tried creating and then saving a skull cap with multiple growth groups and you can save all of your groups as one object. When you go to save your group, P5 pops up a little warning/message box telling you that you should select the parent object with for the growth group. So, I clicked on the sub set button and ended up looking at the hirarchy. I selected all of the hair groups with the skull cap and pressed OK. That seemed to save it and it loaded fine. Let me know if this doesn't work for you, and I can take a little deeper look into it. ~ amon_g ~

heyas; yup. just whatever you do, don't grow your hair right on the model, or you won't be able to save it to the library. (technically, you CAN save it, but each time you load it, it will pop in a copy of the head you built it on. this is NOT handy! :) )
