Sorry for shouting, but LVS Online classes for Poser 4 have opened up. If you have Poser 4 (and maybe even Poser 5), this is a very nice class to give you an introduction to the ins and outs of the program. The instructor is very nice and will answer questions readily. Check it out. :) I have no affiliation with LVS....I'm just a student like you.

This looks great, but when is the next one starting? Sharen

It say the next semester starts on March 8 $20 for new students

You might as well PAY attention, because you can't afford FREE speech

Once you've taken one class with LVS, the next ones cost $15. I am hoping, hoping, hoping they add a Wings 3D class. I'm sure if someone wanted to take on the responsibility of teaching a Poser 5 class, there would be an opportunity to work with the people there to create it. I'd be signed up in a flash. :)

LVS also has 3 courses on Bryce. I'm currently taking the new class, Bryce Lab. Fantastic and fun. Have already taken the Poser and other two Bryce classes. I highly recommend LVS and our instructor Sylvia. Peggy

Is the Poser class totally newbie? I am very interested in taking it, but I think I am beyond the total newbie stage (though I still make newbie mistakes, of course). thanks, e.d.

It is created for the new people. I found I learned some new things but if you are comfortable in Poser, then it probably isn't for you. But for people who feel lost in Poser, I think it is a great place to start.

Hey, thanks for the nice words! ::waving to Dialyn and Peggy:: The Poser class can be used by those who have never touched the program before. Some who are fairly familiar with Poser already have taken it to fill some gaps in their knowledge, but it is aimed at the newbie. The current class is Poser 4/ProPack. I'm working on a Poser 5 class as we speak, but don't know when it will be ready. And, in MHO, the Bryce classes rock! LOL Spit aka Sylvia

Be sure to post when you have Poser 5 ready....I wouldn't want to miss out. I really thought the content of the Poser 4 class was excellent. :) (BTW, I was a drop out but it was not because of the class...it had to do with personal issues and I couldn't focus on the course properly...and still I felt I got more than my money's worth.)
