no violence in the V-day contest, looks like the guy laying down has his eyes rolling backinto his head and he's dieing, not enjoying ummm errr the situation. love the bedspread.

I should have given some credit here... Bedroom by ziddy3d and vidandCGI Mikey by SeanG with Mike textures and Dylan textures by Handspan the bed, pillows and blanket are the morphable bed from Freestuff, off the top of my head I don't know who made it, but it is fantastic. e.d.

The look of it is really cool. A bit artoon style but not really. Global Lighting would do some awsome shadows in the more subtle spots. Not sure if you have any. There are two packs at Daz. I did one so I like that one. I would throw a painting or print on the two walls. Mabey even posters. Anton

Anton, thanks. I am working on the lighting and the posters ;-), you have no idea how it makes me feel to hear you say what I was thinking -- I own quite a bit of your stuff and I adore it. How do I get rid of that artoon look -- and what causes it? best, e.d.

If you are still using the default lighting-- that might be causing the cartoon style. And, again, do you apply your textures over a completley whited out body? There's something flat about the skin and that's either light or texture. Emily

Instead of a white light, you might try giving it a *slight yellow color, with a very dim fill light in a different color. Also, you might try to find a texture that has a weave or something to it, and use it as a very faint bump map on the shirts -- part of the cartoony look is that the figures and clothes are too smooth, I think. But I like the concept, I think you have a great start :-)
