Hi, I'm looking for some items I need in order to put together a picture for a friend of my sister's. He likes to RP, particularly in a Star Wars themed RP game. I told him I'd be happy to make a picture of his char for him to post. To do the pic, I need a couple items that I don't already have in stock: #1. A boba fett helmet, or close facsimile. #2. A blade like Haldir's in the latest LotR movie. He was the leader of the Elven Army. My sister's friend says his char's blade is very much like his. shrugs Hey, I didn't come up with this. LOL. Anyways, if anyone knows where to find one or more of these items for free or to purchase at a reasonable price, I'd be very much obliged. Would so appreciate it. I like to keep my promises, but I don't have time to make these things. Thanks again in advance.

I think there is a boba fett over at Animotions can't really remember. there is a 3ds file of boba fett at 3dcafe.com u might be able to hijaak the helmet/head from that. There was a thread not too long ago here about boba fett, try doing a search on titles. I dun like LOTR, no clue about the sword.

Nixon made a great copy of Boba Fett's Mandalorian helmet in .3ds format, dents and all, and it imports extremely well into Poser. You'll need to tweak the material settings a bit, and scale it to fit Poser folk, but you can see what it looks like above.

Thanks all. I was able to utilize the piece by Nixon for my purposes. Very nice piece indeed. Thanks to Nixon as well. Thanks for all your suggestions so much. Now, I need to find a facsimile of the LOTR style elven sword.

lluque has a Tolkien-esque replica sword collection ("Fellowship of the Kings") in the store at PoserPros, but Haldir's weapon isn't included in the set, unfortunately.

In case you still need it, an elven sword of that type was uploaded to RTDNA's freestuff not long ago.
