Geez. I got Carrara today. I've been waiting for months. I usually use 3DSMax, but I knowing Metacreations I thought that they would produce me an easy to use, yet comprehensive package. But I just don't GET IT!!! How do you friggin model stuff? I can create basic shapes. yippi, but thats it. Everything seems so laboursome. It's like arraaaghh.... duh.. well.. Just had to get i off my chest. Bitdaf, you have all my sympathy. Schaise, I better get to bed. Ohhh, and if anyone knows any great places for tutorials, feel free to let me know. Mine don't work :)

Well... I know what you mean. But like an earlier post said...maybe Adobe will address these problems and the more we work with it the better we will get at it...I hope! LOL I'll say one thing, tho; This is the place to ask for and receive help! The people here are great! Forget about that list... Daf

There are tons of tutorials available, Try this one:http://www.3dlinks.com/tutorials_raydream.cfm It has links to around 75 tutorials for RayDraemStudio which is essentialy the same. Some of the wording has changed and a few of the apps features are a little different though. One helpful thing is to open some of the models that came with the program and "jump-in" on them to see how they were made.

The Carrara Bible Is by IDG Worlwide, It Is awsome very user friendly words used (non Guru words for us Newbee's). I just purchased It my-self from barnesandnoble.com, definately a must purchase.

The Carrara Bible is what the user guide should be- as a newbie to both Carrara and modeling I highly recommend it. Daf
