How does one make a tumbnail to add to there upload?

You'll need to use a paint program like Photoshop, The Gimp, or Paint Shop Pro. Maximum dimensions are 200x200, JPEG or GIF format. And as a courtesy to those still on dialup, try to keep the thumbnail's filesize low. The average seems to be around 7-15KB.

Couple of ways.... Make a teenie weenie render. Or, Select a small patch of your render and copy it to a new document. Or, Take your render and scale the image to thumbnail size, and save under a different name. The last 2 require some sort of image editing program.
