Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 12:36 pm)
okay.... either you posted your weird dream and then deleted it just to make me think i was losing my mind... which won't work, because my mind IS lost, and if you think that bothers me, you're gonna be disappointed ;) OR, i was having deja vu, and responding to a post you WILL make about a dream you WILL have in the future. or perhaps you fell asleep and your unconscious mind posted something, then deleted it later. :)
hah! just because i'm paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get me! :) my theory is still on gear, under the influence of sleep deprivation while working on this project, wrote it while he was, er, sleep-surfing. look at the last line(s) of his first post: 'must sleep now.' then gear had a psychotic episode. :) (no offesne, gear ;) )

'Best results so far involve using MOTU (Mark Of The Unicorn) MIDI sequence software to convert Poser control information in almost real-time to Bryce reposition command information. Having to pass through the MIDI domain limits movement resolution to 7-bit, but that's pretty good. An arm swinging around in a circular motion, for instance, could have no finer a degree of change than 2.8125 (360/128) That's pretty smooth, even at 15fps. The MOTU editing tools do unexpected and amazing things. Certainly not what they were intended to do. So far it's only working on my Mac G3/400. I'll have to get a different sequencer to start a PC version. The Poser characters within Bryce move by remote control from Poser thru MOTU. I must sleep now. -Gear loves you.
