I saw on the poser website that they had poser images put into flash movies... How would i go about doing that?? I would like to import poser figure outlines or something of that nature into my flash movie, but what do i need to do?

Also, I was wondering how you would alter clothing already on poser, for example -- Taking a skirt and turning it into a loin cloth?

I have Poser stuff on my web site. www.moon-dragon.com. Bothe the opening page is Poser/Flash and the eyes on the ncxt page. I rendered the animations as 10 frame annimations on a background the same clolr as my web site page.. Then I imported them into Photoshop and made them into a 10 frome animated gif. Then I imported them directly into the Flash library as a movie clip. I find that the Poser Flash render is too large a file.

When rendering animations, you can select "Sequence Type" as Macromedia Flash. There are also settings for the format. The easiest way to convert clothes in this fashion, a skirt to loin cloth or long-sleeve to short-sleeve shirt for instance, would be to use a transparency map to "virtually" cut away areas of the clothes. Transparency maps are just gray-scale images where black (0,0,0) represents total transparency and white (255,255,255) represents total opaqueness, grays varying inbetween. If you take the clothes color texture map, convert it to gray-scale, then make the textured areas white and everything else black, you can black out white areas to remove cloth from the clothes. This is then applied to the transparency channel of the clothes material.

I got your IM wyatt but I was offline earlier. I personally never use the flash export of poser I just export as a normal vidoe & export it straight into swish if I want to poser stuff in flash.

What I do is use the cartoon shader (P4) and then export swf or png sequence, then bring it into flash.
