Just put this image together for my Camera club competition. Would like any feed back or comments. Before I let a judge pull it apart. **:0)**

Just wondering why there is such a stong yellow orange cast glow to this....? As well as an almost burnt out look to the collar on the left...I'm not so sure I like this aspect of the image... His face seems rather squashed or not quite right? or am I imagining things? I do love the composition!.... is this a composite or did you manage to capture this in camera like this? The grain bothers me a bit as well but that's just my own bias against grain. Over all I like it! And all just IMHO...you know I admire your work! :~) and hey you asked!

I am, therefore I create.......

Locomotive comments? OK..... Chug, Chug, Chug, Chug....Whoooooohooooo, chug chug chuggity chug, chug chug chuggity chug, clackity-clack, clackity clack...... Snapsy, I like it mate.... Love the glow you've put around the driver (? guard?), brings him out of the pic just nicely. Dig the grain too, it adds that 'age' to the loco itself. Knock 'em dead. If the judge disses your photo, have this comment printed out ready and stick it under his nose, tell him MY opinion is as good as his, and ask to see HIS work, then slag it off and ask him what does he know anyways..... What train was it? My dad's claim to fame was being a guard on the Flying Scotsman....well, one of his claims to fame anyhows..... (",)

If I remember it was one of those bright summer evenings and the light was just like this, we have a local railway steam thing where they put on the steam and stuff for the photographers and the enthusiast. All these guys going round making Chug, Chug, Chug, Chug....Whoooooohooooo, chug chug chuggity chug, chug chug chuggity chug, clackity-clack, clackity clack...... noises guess Jordy must be one of um ay? LOL Anyway it is two pictures and I did scale up the driver chap and add the grain and soft lighting I was trying to add a feel of steam to it. Thanks for liking the overall effect here is one without the driver what do you think of this? **:0)**
