Subject: Zeta Studios (Problem with Iago Textures)

I assign the necessary maps to the Mike character and it render prefectly in Poser, when I import into Max I get an incorrect texture for the eyebrows, (the texture is actually part of the map but with the Licence details shown) Poser and the Zeta studios maps are 100% legit, i only purchased the maps last week as we are doing an anatomical animation for work, (I have contacted them but am awaiting reply) any one have this probelm with Zeta maps? Thanks greedo

The mat pose doesn't set the transparency edge for the eyebrow on Iago. Just adjust it to the 100%.

IF you're using Poser 5, then go into the material room and select the Mike figure. Then on the parts dropdown, select eyebrows. On the option box to the left, there is an option for transparency edge, set this value to 1. Now select Upper Eyebrows and do the same. In Poser 4, go to the Materials menu. Select Eyebrow. There are three slider bars across the top. Set the top 2 to the max. The top one is the base or center transparency, the second is the edge. Select Upper Eyebrow and do the same. There's a good tutorial here on materials and transparencies you might want to review. Do a search in the Poser section on Materials. Eyebrows can be a pain sometimes. Wait until you have to deal with Vicky's. It drove me crazy until I read the tuts on them. Hope this helps.
