Anybody have the Magix-VR-Hair ? Is it anything like Gypsy Hair ? Thanks

i bought the hair but i dont know the gypsy hair , so i cant compare. I like the magix hair very much, its looking very good, renders fast, nice morphs.

Does it only come in blonde with a red tint? Emily

The Gypsy Hair is certainly fantastic - very realistic and nice colours. I love it.

Emily, I asked pretty much the same question in an earlier post, and also a question concerning the morphs--whether it was possible to make the hair look wind blown and stuff...unfortunately, no answer from anyone that owns it... Looking at the read me file, it appears there is only the red tint and tones of blonde.... The pictures do not show any morphing....at least other than fly away hairs and some different transparencies...short vs. longer and stuff.... Someone also aked about the fact the hair appeared too symmetrical from the fron, and whether there were morphs to move the hair around a bit...again, no answer to that question....

I'm more concerned about ease of use. I never could figure out how to use Gypsy Hair.

Hello :o) Anyone has reveived answers about those questions ? I was asking myself the same... Elaine

well. here's a reply I received direct from Harvey on this... Hi Dave Thanks for the enquiry. Hope things are going well for you. Answering your questions, the texture mapping is very complex on this hair...no it is not possible to do black, that would require totally new texture maps, you can do a type of auburn though because the blonde color requires a certain amount of ambience and when thats off it can look Auburnish and can be darkened further by the texture color as well. Next Question Some windlown appearance can be done...blowback is one of them, as the hair is not that long there is not a side to side morph, the top flys can be messed though and the mid flys fattened to look more thick. Basically there are a lot of morphs. --------------------------------------] so, sounds to me as its possible to do quite a bit of morphing of the hair. I would think it possible to change the color somewhat by messing with the materials....
